The Heritage Transport Show is a celebration of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles, tractors, steam, stationary engines, commercial and military vehicles. Joined by the South East Bus Festival, the event also brings a huge number of buses and coaches from across the South East and beyond.

With a superb collection of local crafters and artisans, you can expect to find some unique, quality hand-made gifts for friends, family and maybe yourself. Local food and drink will be available as well as our ‘pop up’ tea room serving delicious cakes.

300 exhibitors with a wide variety of goods on display and for sale. The features of the show include the floral marquees with their stunning floral displays including medal winners from Chelsea. The garden exhibitors have all manner of gardening goods for sale and include over sixty nurseies. There is a craft pavilion, food hall, brass band and children's rides.

The region’s showcase event for farming, agriculture and countryside life. For three days a year, animals, horses, vintage vehicles, retail stands and much more converge on the stunning surroundings of the Kent Showground for a celebration of the best in the county.

With over 30 full size steam engines taking part in arena events, steam ‘working area’ with threshing machines and saw benches, a Victorian Fair complete with Carousel and traditional side shows, over 60 scale steam engines and ride on railway, classic cars, stationary engines, commercial, farming, military vehicles and stalls, there really is something for everyone. 

Join us at the Woodfest Country Fair this 12–13 September 2026! We’ll be showcasing our latest handcrafted work alongside an incredible weekend of traditional woodland demonstrations—from custom furniture making and wood turning to willow weaving and campfire cooking. Beyond the craft displays, look forward to vintage tractors, stationary steam engines, and full arena entertainment including Adam’s Axemen, Kent Falconry, the Dog and Duck Show, ferret racing, and the Øst Centingas Viking Encampment. The Welding Carpenter is excited to showcase our bespoke, handcrafted wood-and-steel creations at the Autumn Show & Horse Trials! Set right in the heart of the action, our stand is surrounded by live woodland craft demonstrations and traditional rural skills. Beyond our showcase, visitors can enjoy top-tier equestrian competitions, hands-on activities like axe throwing and archery, non-stop arena entertainment, a Viking encampment, and great food and shopping for the whole family and dogs!.
